Do you annotate your books?

Do you annotate your books? I never used to and the idea of marking up my books would drive me up a wall but I saw a post on here the other day that made me want to try it. I started annotating my current read two days ago and I’m kind of loving it! I highlight the parts that stand out to me. Quote

I don’t annotate my books. Sure I used to do it in textbooks, but in books that I enjoy, I would rather not. I don’t like the idea of marking up my books.

I used to in college but never since then. I have a Kindle and can highlight and take notes…but I’ve never used that feature.
